
Pricing:
As Kenton Hughes Ltd. provides a wide range of units and equipment for short-term hire, long-term hire or sale, and can manufacture or modify any item to meet your exact specifications, we cannot offer an off-the-shelf price list. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we will offer you our best possible price.
We charge VAT at the current rate.
Payment:
Deposits, payment for hire of units and equipment and payments for the purchase of smaller items can be made over the telephone using a credit card. We use a PayPal Virtual Terminal to process payments securely. We may offer credit accounts to established businesses at our discretion, subject to status.
Delivery:
Delivery of all items can be arranged by Kenton Hughes Ltd. on behalf of the buyer or hirer. Cost will be borne by the purchaser/hirer and vary dependent on the size of the item and the delivery location. The purchaser/hirer will be informed of delivery costs before any item is shipped. Kenton Hughes Ltd. cannot be held responsible for any delay in transportation caused by a third party.
Smaller, in-stock items will be delivered by courier. We aim to dispatch courier delivered items within 2-3 working days of payment or receipt of a confirmed order from credit customers.
Larger, in-stock items, such as generators, storage units, site welfare units, site offices, fuel stores, fuel systems and security cabins will be delivered either by our own transportation or by a haulage company and may take longer to arrange delivery.
You may collect any item from our location or arrange your own haulage. Some of our site welfare units, site toilets and generators are trailer mounted and towable.
We aim to dispatch custom manufactured or custom modified units within 2-3 working days of completion.
Any damage that has occurred during shipping arranged by Kenton Hughes Ltd. must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery.
Cancellation:
You may cancel an order for a standard item before it is shipped at no cost.
If you cancel an item that we are manufacturing or modifying to your specifications, you will be required to pay our reasonable costs. Details will be specified prior to the commencement of the manufacture or modification process.
Returns/Refunds:
We pride ourselves in customer satisfaction therefore if you are not satisfied with any unit or equipment we provide, please get in touch with us immediately. If we cannot rectify the problem for you, the item may be returned within 7 days for a full refund (less transportation costs). We will process the refund on a returned item as soon as possible and always within 30 days.
Any unit or equipment returned for a refund must be in the condition it was delivered. We reserve the right to bill the customer reasonable charges for servicing, cleaning or maintenance on returned plant.
Please note, business to business contracts do not fall under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) so there is no "cooling off period" unless the sale is directly to a consumer.
Privacy
We take privacy seriously. We do not pass or sell customer's information on to third parties without their express permission.
Credit card details are taken only to complete the current transaction. We do not keep details of credit cards, bank accounts etc. in any form.
Health and Safety, Maintenance of Plant, Care of Equipment and related issues are covered under the hire or purchase agreement, and details will be given to a purchaser/hirer as appropriate.
Legal Jurisdiction:
These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes.
